This morning we took a short ride to Giza to see the
Necropolis
which includes the
Great Pyramid of Giza,
the only remaining member of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This is a
picture of our actual ticket as we obssessively saved all of our tickets and
they appear throughout here in the appropriate places.
Egypt is filled with extremely aggressive folks selling cheap souvenirs and trying to hustle tourists for as much money as they can get. This guy gave us some "gifts" and tried to get us to take a camel ride. We just took some pictures.
As you can see, this is just on the outskirts of civilization.
