Verdmont, built in 1710 in a four-squared, early Georgian style, enjoys a choice hilltop view and was once the center of a 55-acre estate. Although Verdmont was inhabited until it was sold to the Bermuda National Trust in 1951, its owners never significantly altered the property and lived without electricity and plumbing. Consequently, Verdmont retains its original character almost free of modifications.
